"I partner with experienced and emerging leaders; helping them be the leader that people want to follow. My clients call me their inner game coach; I help them lead from the inside out, cutting through the emotional and intellectual clutter and assumptions, to see difficult situations and potential opportunities with fresh eyes. What emerges is an inner confidence that enables them to see things in new ways and convert their insights into productive action."
The path of a leader is not easy; it’s like living in a glass house, every word and action being interpreted, for better or worse. As an inner game coach, I help clients create a laser focus on what’s most essential for their learning and growth to be the leader people naturally trust and want to follow. The journey starts with being a leader in their own lives; building self-awareness to create a connection with self, others and the world around them. My responsibility is to partner with them, while at the same time, enabling them to own their journey. Inner game coaching enables my clients to build new mindsets, skills and behaviors; allowing them to experience professional success and a deep personal satisfaction. My clients report increased self-confidence and credibility; better self-management; the ability to influence others; and to cultivate and sustain productive business relationships, while achieving targeted goals.
Numbers drive the bottom line, but people drive the numbers. The clients I work with recognize that people deliver results, not organizations; so they drive for enhancing their emotional intelligence and personal mastery. They want to ensure their intent matches their impact, and if it goes wrong, how to get things back on track for work relationships, projects or employees. Many of the leaders I coach reside in bio-tech, technology or financial services; but regardless of the industry, I coach my clients on how to model the behavior they want to see in others, so they can drive an active culture of collaboration, especially during tough periods. Working collaboratively is essential, because the collective response determines the organization’s results. Leaders will shine and leaders will stumble, but in the big picture, how leaders handle missteps always affects their credibility and their influence to get work done through and with others.
